Research interests：
Molecular Neurobiology、Glial cell differentiation、Metabolic disorders and nerve inflammation.
Laboratory：Molecular Neuroscience Lab
The main theme of research in my laboratory is to understand molecular mechanisms underlying glial differentiation during development or after injury to the mammalian central nervous system (CNS). Neuron-Glia crosstalk, CNS inflammation, and metabolic syndrome-associated neurodegenerative progress are extensively studied by an integrative genomics-based approach. Moreover, the study of anti-inflammatory strategy for the treatment of neurological disorders is included. The research topics in the laboratory include: First, interplay of multiple genes governing oligodendrocyte precursor cell (OPC) differentiation and glioma tumorigenicity; Second, Neuron-glia crosstalk in metabolic dysfunction and emotional disorders.
