Postdoc Position
The BEE Lab (Behavioral and Evolutionary Ecology) is recruiting a postdoc to join our team for conducting a project newly funded by NSTC (National Science and Technology Council, Taiwan). The applicants are expected to have a full capacity of training background and research experiences in animal behavior, ecology, and evolution, and at both the field and the laboratory perspectives. The details are as follows.
Location (地點)：Department of Life Sciences, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan(台南市國立成功大學生命科學系)
Starting date (起始時日)：2024/08/01, or through negotiation (2024/08/01, 或洽談)
Duration (期限)： annual contract, may be extended (一年聘, 可續聘)
Job content (工作內容)：Join the team force and play a substantial role in executing behavioral and ecology-conservation-related projects under the PI’s supervision (接受主持人監督與指導執行計畫動物行為與生態保育相關之野外及實驗室研究)
Specific qualifications (資格條件)：
1. PhD degree in Biology, Zoology, Ecology, Life Sciences, Wildlife Science/Conservation, or other related fields;
2. Research experiences in one or more of the following sub-fields: Behavioral Ecology,
Animal Behavior, Behavioral Biology, Ethology, Evolutionary Ecology, Forestry Ecology, Ornithology, Mammalogy , Wildlife Science;
3. Physically fitting well with outdoor environmental conditions, flexible with working time,and being capable of conducting field work;
4. Any analytic training, techniques, or skills in lab and/or data analyses.
